If you're downloading from Rapidshare as a free user, you might encounter a notice telling you that you have exceeded the download limit and ask you to wait for 15 minutes before downloading again. The good news is, there is a work around if your Internet connection is dynamic ip based. It's worth a try!
Steps:
Just turn off your modem and turn it back on or alternatively if you know which is the ADSL cable, unplug it and insert it back in (this save you a little more time as u don't need to restart the whole modem).
Slow subsequent download :
However, if your subsequent download appear to be very slow, I would suggest that you cancel the download and choose a different server under advance download setting (after countdown). This method works for me and i get the usual fast download speed.
How it works:
Having a dynamic ip means your ip address isn't fixed (as opposed to fixed ip), thus when you restart your connection, you're given the next available ip address by your ISP (internet service provider). Since Rapidshare detects your ip address to determine if your are the same user, having a new ip address means you'll be considered as a new user and thus haven't reach the download limit!
